A Christmas Message from Me this time

Hello, just dropping by to leave everybody a message of goodwill and hoping that you all have a happy holiday  whatever may be celebrated if anything at all. May this be served as a time to spend some time with family and time to think of those less fortunate than us in this world. So happy holidays to all.

UK Hockey Store? Can You Help Us?

So we've got a story in a local paper! How great is that! But...they want a picture of us in hockey jerseys and well...we've not got any. So does anyone know anywhere they sell UK hockey jerseys decently priced? Whatever team, we don't mind! If anyone knows anywhere good, please help us!

British Hockey Links!

So if you've been on the site recently you'll notice we've changed it around quite a lot! You'll also see we've got a tab called 'UK Hockey Links' - click it and you'll get a page full of great links to sites to do with British hockey! Now we've only just set this up so there's not too many links on there yet, but were putting more on ASAP! If there's any you think we should include, let us know!

A Welcome From Tom

So, it's getting to the point in the year when trees look nice and snow covered, and the paths become icy, in Suffolk that's the closest we have to a skating facility with exception to that temporary one that comes along every now and again. Hopefully this campaign will turn out good and ideally we will have a hockey team and a rink to have skating accessible not only in the winter seasons.

NHL lockout - curse or blessing for British ice hockey?

The NHL lockout is a disaster for North American hockey. The NHL is the worlds top league, no matter what the KHL thinks about it, and quite frankly, a season without it does the world of hockey more harm than good. The top players are forced into Europe, which is great for European hockey, but sadly it's not the same high level as the NHL. A few players might come to the Elite League in the UK though. But is it a blessing for the EIHL to have such talent grace its ranks, or could it do more harm than good for the British game? It requires a bit of thinking this one...
